Fidus Writer was recently mentioned in an article on Nature.com together with writeLaTeX and Authorea. As mentioned in the article writeLaTex is “produced by a company also called writeLaTeX, supported by Digital Science, a division of Macmillan, which publishes Nature.” So in a certain sense this is Nature reviewing one of their own tools with two other available tools. Edit: The article initially made some mistakenly said that Fidus Writer didn’t include document versioning, but after we notified them of their mistake they fixed it in the online version and will be notifying the readers of their paper readers in an upcoming edition.
