The team behind Fidus Writer is proud to be able to announce the 1.0 release.

Thanks to all the input we received over the last few weeks we were able to hunt down a number of bugs and now feel comfortable releasing the current code as version 1.0. We also need to thank those not part of the core team who helped — especially Ana Carolina Vera Resquín for the Spanish translation and Vladimir Vitkov for the Bulgarian translation. We will keep fixing version 1.0 as bugs are found, and also look forward toward future versions and what features will be included. Input and help is of course very welcome!

We will also start looking at what kinds of hosting packages (with guaranteed backups, etc.) we will be able to offer for those users who are not able to run their own server. More on that soon!
